We also very much appreciate reader reviews and comments posted on the book's Barnes & Noble or Amazon pages. This is an excellent way to share your thoughts with new potential readers.
Passport is a compelling story about the nature of marriage and sacrifice, giving a vivid portrayal of the development of the interior life of its characters. It rings true to life. I found myself excited to see what would happen, looking forward to reading the next chapter to see how the central character would respond to each new challenge.
Moreover, the book captures the sense of mission for any serious Catholic, enabling us to see how the Christian life plays out in the ordinary events of our lives. I could often see myself both in the successes and failures of the primary players. It was very insightful. Passport allows us to see our shortcomings and consider the ways in which each of us is called to make progress in our lives in serving God. I loved it!

This is a romance novel for the realist. The curious thing is that real, self-giving, marital love, which this book captures (at times with excruciating clarity), is far more engrossing than the fantatic love of typical romance novels. To would-be fathers: Have you go got the guts to REALLY love your wife and future children? Then read this if you dare!
I just finished reading your beautiful book. I loved it! I appreciate the fact that it is very "Catholic" and will be a good read for various audiences. It's instructional, educational, and inspirational. The message is driven home with a velvet hammer.

The book was very good. I think what was the most impressive theme to me, was that actions have consequences. Holy cow, scary stuff there. But as my children enter into the danger zone of teen years and such, I am once again looking at the very real world of sin and temptation. I was there, I remember so well.
And I like how it made me think. Too often in contemporary literature, we read about sinful activities being brushed off casually as if it were no big deal and esp. as never having consequences. I do think it is possible that writers of such drivel, as it should not be called literature, could be held accountable for leading some souls into sin. Your book did just the opposite, it makes the reader contemplate the higher things, sin, judgment, doing the right thing precisely because it is the right thing. There is just not too much talk in our society about honor and valor, and I found your book to be a refreshing change.

Warning! Don't read this book if you don't want to find yourself dreaming about the characters and even praying for them. Don't read this book if you don't want to find yourself thinking up ways you could be a better father, mother, husband, wife, friend. Don't read this book if you don't want to find yourself laughing, crying and talking aloud with the characters.
